2008

Annapurna Capital Management, LLC was founded by Marshall Brandt in 2008. Over the next decade, the firm successfully exited two private equity funds with returns in the top 5% of it’s peer group. Portoflio companies operated within the energy services and freight transportation industries.

2022

Annapurna Funds, LP was formed. The General Partners trade internal capital while developing a global macro managed futures strategy.

2025

Annapurna Capital GP, LLC was formed, became a member of the National Futures Association and registered as a Commodity Pool Operator (CPO) and Commodity Trading Advisor (CTA). First outside capital is accepted in the firm’s flagship strategy, Annapurna Global Macro, LP.
